Robbie Gaundroue
Registered Massage Therapist
I came to massage at a time when I was learning to reconnect with my own body and found it to be a powerful resource for managing chronic pain, decreasing and coping with stress and aiding injury recovery. Now, as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), I’m committed to supporting people as they learn to care for their bodies, health and overall well-being. In my practice, I continue to learn from every person I work with. I believe effective treatment begins with listening to the person on the table and to how their body moves and responds.
My treatments focus on the whole body, emphasizing relaxation, nervous system support and the ways physical symptoms often connect to broader patterns, including emotional and mental health. I love helping people discover how massage can address concerns they may not have realized were linked, like how opening the chest wall can ease neck pain, or how jaw tension might stem from stress or postural fatigue, or how working on the front of the hips can help ease low back pain.
I have gained experience working with folks that live with chronic illnesses such as fibromyalgia, endometriosis, EDS or G-HSD and I value the lived experience these patients bring into the treatment room and I aim to work alongside you to achieve your treatment goals. I have completed advanced training in breast, chest, and oncology massage and I am honoured to be able to offer this care in my practice. I strive to stay informed of new research and I value connecting with other practitioners to improve my practice. This enables me to create a network of care for my patients.
As a queer and trans-affirming practitioner, I’m committed to offering safe, trauma-informed care to people across the gender spectrum. I strive to create a space where people of all identities, expressions, and body types can feel more at home in their bodies, however they show up. I am excited to join Spectrum Collective because I am passionate about supporting my community and I look forward to working with you!
